Terms of service
1. Who we are
PitchRefined is a service of TG Initiatives Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 15820893), registered office [registered address]. Contact: hello@pitchrefined.com. In these terms, "we" means TG Initiatives Ltd and "you" means the person or business ordering a review.
2. The service
- A written review of one pitch deck of up to 20 slides, delivered as a PDF. It includes overall and story comments, slide-by-slide comments, visual comments, suggested rewrites for key slides, and a prioritised list of fixes.
- If you send them, we consider up to two short videos (about 5 minutes each) to understand your project and how you present it. We don't give separate feedback on video production or delivery.
- We don't redesign or produce slides.
- The review is an informed opinion on your pitch. It is not investment, legal, financial or tax advice, and we can't guarantee any outcome, such as raising money or winning a deal.
3. Ordering and payment
- You order by sending the brief form and paying through Stripe. Our contract with you starts when we confirm your order by email.
- Prices are shown on the website at the time you order. We are not currently registered for VAT, so no VAT is charged.
- Payment is taken in full before work starts. We don't store your card details; Stripe processes the payment.
4. Turnaround
We deliver your review within 5 working days (Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays in England) of the later of payment and receiving your complete brief and deck. If something is missing or unreadable, we'll tell you, and the 5 days start once we have it. If we can't meet the deadline, we'll tell you as soon as we know and give you a new date, or a full refund if you prefer.
5. What you need to do
- Give us accurate information and the materials needed for the review.
- Only send material you have the right to share. Don't send anything that contains personal data about others beyond what the review needs, or that you're not allowed to disclose.
6. Optional extras
- Walk-through call: 30 minutes by video call, booked within 30 days of delivery.
- Re-review: written comments on one revised version of the same deck, sent within 30 days of delivery of the original review. We return it within 3 working days of receiving the revised deck and payment. A substantially different deck (for example a new raise or a new audience) counts as a new review.
- Extra slides: £50 per block of 10 slides above 20, charged with the review and capped at £100 (20 extra slides) however long the deck is.
Extras can be bought at checkout or later from the link in your review email.
7. Revise-or-refund promise
If the review doesn't help you, tell us within 7 days of delivery what didn't help. We'll revise the review at no cost within 5 working days. If the revised review still doesn't help, we'll refund the review fee in full. This promise applies once per customer and doesn't cover extras already delivered, such as a completed call.
8. Cancelling
- Before work starts: you can cancel for a full refund.
- If you're a consumer (buying for yourself, not for a business), you normally have 14 days to cancel. When you order, you ask us to start work within that period. If you cancel after work has started but before delivery, we may keep a proportionate amount for the work done. Once the review is delivered, the right to cancel ends.
- Business customers can cancel before work starts. After that, the revise-or-refund promise in section 7 applies.
9. Confidentiality
These terms include a confidentiality agreement, so you don't need to sign a separate NDA.
- Your deck, videos, brief and the review we write for you are your confidential information.
- We use them only to prepare your review and any extras you've bought.
- We don't disclose them to anyone, except to the service providers we need to run the service (listed in our privacy notice), who are bound to keep them confidential, or where the law requires it.
- This doesn't cover information that is already public, or that we already knew or received from someone else without a duty of confidence.
- We delete your files 90 days after delivery, unless you ask us to keep them for a re-review.
- We only use an anonymised extract of your review as an example if you've agreed to it.
- These confidentiality duties continue for 3 years after delivery of your review.
10. Use of AI tools
Tolga Gemicioglu reviews every deck personally. We use AI tools to speed up first-pass analysis and drafting, with model training switched off, so they don't learn from your files. The final review is written and checked by Tolga.
11. Ownership
Your deck and materials stay yours. Once you've paid, you may use the review freely within your business. We keep the right to use our general knowledge and experience, but we won't publish your review or identify your company without your permission.
12. Discount codes and credits
- One code per order. Codes have no cash value and can't be exchanged or transferred.
- Accelerator codes are single-use and valid for 90 days from issue.
- Referral codes are single-use and apply to a first review only. Referral credits are single-use, one per order, and valid for 12 months.
- We may cancel a code that is being misused.
13. Our liability
- Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited by law.
- Otherwise, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.
- We're not liable for decisions you make based on the review, or for loss of funding, profit, revenue or business opportunity.
- If you're a consumer, you have legal rights that these terms don't affect, including that we provide the service with reasonable care and skill.
14. Complaints
If you're unhappy, email hello@pitchrefined.com. We'll reply within 5 working days.
15. Changes and law
We may update these terms; the version on the website when you order applies to your order. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you're a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings there.
